Armstrong Teasdale Partner Robert Schwendinger Receives Missouri Hospital Association Award

Robert Schwendinger, an Armstrong Teasdale partner and head of the firm’s Health Care practice group, has received a Missouri Hospital Association 2013 Excellence in Governance award for his contributions to the health care community. Schwendinger has been a board member of the Lake Regional Health System (LRHS) for 37 years, serving as board secretary throughout his tenure. LRHS operates Lake Regional Hospital at the Lake of the Ozarks.

As one of the seven original members of the system’s board, Schwendinger has been instrumental in planning the hospital’s development, growth and success. During his tenure, three major expansion/renovation projects were completed that shaped the system’s current campus. In addition, Schwendinger has served on its Medical Staff Development and Joint Conference Committees since 1976.

“Lake Regional has benefited from the sound judgment and integrity of Bob Schwendinger,” said Michael E. Henze, LRHS chief executive officer. “His leadership has been essential to the success of our organization and its vision for the future.”
