Made for FREEDOM!!! Press Release

St. Louis Startup Provides Independence for Survivors of Sex Trafficking

Local social enterprise, Made for Freedom, is using fashion and crowdfunding to provide employment, life skills and job training for rescued women.

(St. Louis, MO)– This July 4th, Dawn Manske and the Made for Freedom team are enjoying their independence while working to provide independence for women in St. Louis and around the world who have survived sex trafficking.

Made for Freedom is a not-just-for-profit, social enterprise that will provide life skills and job training for
women rescued from sex trafficking with proceeds from its ultra-comfortable, bohemian chic pants.

It all started when numerous compliments about Dawn’s international pants came together with the concepts of Social Enterprises (using business strategies to benefit society) and a desire to help survivors

The pants are inspired by fisherman pants, altered to make them more flattering and stylish which makes them absolutely unique. Dancers, yoga enthusiasts and karate hopefuls love them. More comfortable than jeans and more stylish than sweats, they are perfect for anyone who enjoys being comfortable with a little bohemian flare. These pants fit sizes 0 – 14. That means, unlike that stack of jeans we all have on the shelf that aren’t quite the right size, these pants still fit even if you lose or gain

Once we raise our capital, the pants will be sold online and at boutiques with a minimum of 20% of the proceeds from every pair of pants going to centers that provide life skills and job training for women rescued from sex trafficking.

Be one of the first to own these bohemian chic pants by Made for Freedom. Available along with other items that are made by women rescued from sex trafficking at our crowdfunding site igg.me/at/madeforfreedom until July 25.
