Audiology Help Available for Seniors in North St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, October 31, 2013  --  Grace Hill Health Centers Inc., which operates five health centers and a community health program in St. Louis, now offers audiology services for adults age 60 and over through the Center for Hearing & Speech, a St. Louis-based charity, at the Water Tower Health Center, 4414 North Florissant Avenue.

 

Audiology services are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Tuesday.  Appointments can be made by calling 314-968-4710.  A doctor of audiology with the Center for Hearing & Speech is available for audiology services at Water Tower Health Center each Tuesday.  Senior residents of north St. Louis and near North County are invited to make appointments for comprehensive auditory testing.

Costs for audiology services and hearing aids can be heavily subsidized, with sliding fees based upon financial need for uninsured patients.  Missouri Medicaid, Medicare and some private, commercial insurance plans are accepted.  Financial scholarships are available for those who qualify.
