Even though my job as the Market Manager of the Clayton Farmer's Market has slowed way down with the closing of the regular market season, life on the farm still goes.  Produce is still harvested (yes, even in the winter), chickens still lay eggs, poultry and beef are processed and artisan foods are still hand-crafted. 

This is good news and now we have a winter home for our small farmers and food producers to provide the same high quality foods to their customers.  I'm pleased to announce the first Farmer's Winter Market & Bazaar presented by the Clayton Farmer's Market.  The Market will be held indoors at The Center of Clayton on  Saturday, December 3 from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity, not only to stay connected to the fine folks who participated in our regular Market, but to have access to farm fresh, locally sourced products year round.  (All right, I'll admit it. I also really like the hand-crafted chocolate--and other foods too!)
