Moylan stated in a previous Patch article that she believes the biggest issue facing Richmond Heights is to complete the Hadley Township redevelopment.

"Currently, Hadley Township has many vacant properties and is experiencing blight. I believe we need to find a redevelopment plan that works for all residents," she said.

Megan Moylan, 37, has been a Richmond Heights resident since 2005. She has been involved with the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District for several years, including volunteering with Joe's Place.

Cockson said in a statement to Patch, that he will continue look for ways to contribute to the community.

"While congratulating my opponent on her win, I continue to seek ways to serve the citizens of Richmond Heights as we have many issues ahead of us in this era of leaner, more efficient governance in the face of stagnant revenues and increasing social needs for our children, our seniors, and our shrinking middle class".
