Snow Falls on Clayton on New Year's Eve (Photos)
Forecasters are predicting 2-3 inches of snow, which may make New Year's Eve driving conditions hazardous.
A winter weather advisory may be in effect across St. Louis, but Monday morning's light snowfall didn't stop some families from having outdoors fun in Clayton.
Drew Brown and his 9-year-old nephew, Max, went to Concordia Park on Monday morning and met the Manion family for a friendly snowball fight. Peter Manion and his two sons—Ian, 7, and Henry, 5—also were at the park for some winter fun.
The winter weather advisory took effect at 9 a.m. and will remain until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters are predicting between two to three inches of snow.
If you New Year's Eve plans include travel, please be aware of an 80 percent chance of precipitation on Monday evening. Monday's low is expected to be 22 degrees.
