Labor Day 2012 St. Louis: What's Open, What's Closed, Events and More

Here's how the Monday holiday will affect life in Richmond Heights and Clayton.

 

This year, Labor Day falls on Sept. 3, 2012. Trash pick-up, a City Council meeting and other aspects of life in Clayton and Richmond Heights are being affected by Monday's Labor Day holiday.

TRASH AND RECYCLABLES PICK-UP

OPEN

  • The Heights community center in Richmond Heights will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
  • The Center of Clayton in Clayton will maintain regular hours from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday.

CLOSED

  • The Mid-County Branch of the St. Louis County Library, located in Clayton, will be closed Monday in observation of the holiday.
  • City Halls in both cities will be closed.
  • The Lawrence K. Roos Government Building will be closed.
  • The School District of Clayton and the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District both will be closed.
