Joe's Place Board Likely Will Add Members
Two representatives on the Maplewood Richmond Heights Board of Education gave updates about the organization this month.
A couple of new faces likely will join the Joe's Place Board of Directors at the beginning of the year, a Maplewood Richmond Heights Board of Education member said.
Some committees also are expected to be formed for the organization benefiting homeless youth in the MRH School District, school board representative Julie Pole told fellow members during their Dec. 15 meeting.
The board also plans to talk with people interested in spearheading a future capital campaign, school board Treasurer Nelson Mitten said.
Joe's Place provides food, shelter and support to a group of male students in the district who are facing challenging situations at home.
