We all know that COCA (Center of Creative Arts) has fantastic art programs for children and adults alike. But did you know they have fitness classes as well?

COCA has several classes in its call "Off the Couch" series for fun, outside-the-box fitness classes. Fall class schedules begin Sept. 4 and run through December.
Here's a few fun fitness ideas for fall.
September
- Cardio Bollywood — Teens (16+) and adults can get fit and have fun in this four-week fitness series beginning Sept. 5 that’s a fusion of Bollywood, Bhangra and fitness moves. Wednesday evenings at 7:15 p.m. at COCA. Presented in partnership with Bollywood Shuffle. No dance experience is necessary. $65
- Circus Fitness — Teens (16+) and adults can get fit and have fun in this four-week fitness series that`s a fusion of circus skills and fitness moves. Circus fitness is taught by Josh Routh, a professional circus performer and educator. Wednesday evenings at 7:15 p.m. at COCA. $65.
- Teen Fitness: Zumba — Teens (12-18) may get fit and have fun in this four-week series starting Sept. 9 that combines exercise moves with irresistible Latin rhythms. Sundays at 1 p.m. at COCA. $65.
October
- Cardo Ballet to the Max — Teens (16+) and adults can get fit and have fun in this four-week fitness series starting Oct. 3 that focuses on lengthening and strengthening muscles through cardio exercises on the barre and on the floor. Appropriate for those with or without ballet experience. Wednesday evenings at 7:15 p.m. at COCA. $65.
- Teen Fitness: Hula Hoop — Teens (12-18) get fit and have fun in this four-week series that uses a weighted hula hoop as a fitness tool for a great cardio workout that also builds abdominal and lower back muscles. Sundays at 1 p.m. at COCA. $65.
November
- Teen Fitness: Cardio Hip-Hop — Teens (12-18) get fit and have fun in this four-week series that burns fat and builds stamina while learning cutting edge hip-hop techniques. Sundays at 1 p.m. at COCA. $65.
- Off The Couch Series: Hula Hoop Fitness — Teens (16+) and adults can get fit and have fun in this four-week fitness series that uses a weighted hula hoop as a workout tool. Wednesday evenings at 7:15 p.m. at COCA. No dance experience is necessary. $65.
