Clayton Native Sees 1,000th Consecutive Opera Performance
John Lesser is a big fan of the Opera Theatre of St. Louis, University City Patch reported.
Clayton native John Lesser has seen 1,000 productions from Opera Theatre of St. Louis in a row, University City Patch reported this summer.
Quoting from the University City Patch article:
"When Opera Theatre of St. Louis held its first performance of Don Pasquale in 1976 they had no idea of the effect that they would have on Lesser, who saw his very first production by the company. Incredibly, he has not missed one since."
