Clayton Mayoral Candidates to Meet in First Forum on Wednesday
The Washington University Democrats are sponsoring the forum, to be held on the campus.
The first forum for the Clayton mayoral candidates will be held Wednesday on the Washington University campus. It's being sponsored by the WashU College Democrats, as announced on its Facebook page.
Ward 3 Alderman Alex Berger III, Ward 2 Alderwoman Michelle Harris and former Ward 3 Alderman Harold Sanger all filed to run for mayor. They all previously announced their intentions to run.
The forum will be moderated by the College Democrats, and will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27 in Umrath Formal Lounge.
The mayor is the only open seat in Clayton. Mayor Goldstein will hit her term limit in April 2013 after two consecutive terms.
Elected officials serve terms of three years. The election is scheduled for April 2, 2013.
