The opening of Shaw Park Ice Rink has been pushed from Friday to Nov. 30 because of warm temperatures and rain, the City of Clayton announced in a news alert.

This year marks the 50th season for the ice rink. The first public skate of the season is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 2. The annual All That Glitters event also is planned that day from 6 to 10 p.m. and will feature free admission, skate rentals, refreshments and fireworks above Shaw Park.

During the season, and assuming weather remains favorable, public skating hours run from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
